Hi guys,

I have a problem with the film "Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels". This film is in PAL/25 fps. The beginning (approx 3 minutes) is interlaced, the rest of the film is in the progressive mode . When I join video with AC3 audio in the "3 minutes part", it goes badly out of sync (audio is faster). When I repeat this same operation with MP3 audio, everything is fine. The a/v synchronisation in the second, progressive part is fine for both audio formats.

I've been using SmartRipper, DVD2AVI, VFAPI, VirtualDub, Nandub.
I almost forgot to say that this happens in all players.

Thanx for all guides.

Did you try playing with the Interleave settings in Nandub???
If not, try these values: 96/96 (ms) or 64/64 (ms).
The first one is Preload, the second one is Interleave audio every.

Yes, I tried it, but I think these values don't efect the a/v sync. I have partially solved this problem when I used telecide() and decimate(cycle=5)(changed framerate from 25 to 20). In this case the a/v sync seems to be fine, but the final video is NOT fluent at all.
