After successfully ripping a dvd, and I've had quite a few successes... I accidently forgot to delete the old movie from the movie folder and began to rip another file into that same folder. After about four hours I realized my mistake and tried to correct the problem. I deleted everything from the file, and retried, but dvd2svcd kept trying to pickup where it left off. I uninstalled the whole program, tried to rip another disc seemed to be working ok, but everytime i go back to rip the disc i need to do.. It is trying to pick up where it left off, and giving me an error
I/O error 2147286263 I looked at all the Q&A and newbie refs and couldnt find an answer... any help would be appreciated.

Try using smartripper to rip the DVD to your hard drive and then start DVD2SVCD without ticking Activate DVD ripping
It worked for me
Good Luck
