Hi there,
I've been using this Asus N552VX laptop since early 2016 and I use it on a regular basis.
CPU: Intel i7 6700HQ 4c/8th 2.60GHz
RAM: Vengeance Performance 2666MHz CL18 64 GB DDR4 (2x32 GB)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 950M 4GB GDDR5
SSD: OS - Intel 660p Neptune Harbor NVME 1TB
SSD: Data - Samsung EVO 860 1TB Sata III
SSD: Data - Samsung QVO 860 1TB Sata III
In 2020, during the pandemic, I changed the battery as it was beginning to wear off and I've put in a brand new battery.
A few days ago, however, I noticed that even if I shut down my Fedora 36 x64 and there's no plug connected, the battery LED stays green (but the computer is completely shut down)!
If I connect the plug, it starts blinking orange and green, orange and green, orange and green and does it in a cycle pretty much forever.
Generally, it would stay green only if the battery is fully charged and the computer is powered on, while it should be orange if it's charging and the plug is plugged.
By reading the manual, I could see that the fact that it's blinking means that there's an error, however it's vague to say the least as it doesn't specify what the error is, it just says "there's an error".
I'm now writing from my computer as it turns on normally and Fedora boots normally.
I tried to check from the terminal whether the battery had some problems or not, but I couldn't find anything:

Is it the plug? Is it the battery? Is it something else?
I'm now running entirely on battery while listening to music on my USB-C headsets and it works, but the LED is still blinking and I can't figure out why...
