I have a video file that is m2ts. It has one layer of dolby vision.
I want to change the file to mkv and keep the Dolby Vision layer.
how do I do it ?
I would use tsmuxer, convert the file to bmdv folder and then use makemkv.
But since now the file is with one Dolby Vision layer. tsmuxer does not allow creating a bmdv folder

Tsmuxer will allow you to create a bluray folder keeping the dv layer but I don't really see the point of what you are saying as the folder will contain among other files the same .m2ts that will contain all the tracks you already have. In reality you will get the same results as you already have. You could try demuxing the .m2ts and creating an .mkv although I've never worked with that container, I guess it can do it and I don't know if it will be compatible to contain the dv layer.
