Is always same link and key is updated every month (so long as still in Beta, has been beta for years now).
Executable is updated about every few months.
Not sure, think will still play BD in VLC (and other supported players) even when current MakeMKV key has expired. [Try it yourself next time yours expires]

So, I decided to try and figure out how to do it myself, working off of the nice post by hnsteyding to do so.
So maybe also keep original libs from above VLC link, just incase new ones dont behave.

MakeMKV is free while in Beta. And it's been in Beta as long as I can remember. You just have to get a new key (that they post in their forum) every so often. And you need to download and update the app too. (You'd have to download and update the app even if you purchased a license).

DVDFab has Passkey Lite. It doesn't rip the newest/latest protections but can work.
