Hi!

I have been trying to setup MPC-HC with madvr and xysubfilter. Is there a way for xysubfilter to autoload an external subtitle file? I tried configuring the autoload path in the xysubfilter panel but it does nothing.

Right now the only way I can load external sub is to use the xysubfilter control panel to manually load it. There must be a better way so hopefully someone can give me some pointers.

I also noticed that once I adjusted the subtitle delay in xysubfilter it sticks across playbacks, even affecting built-in subs. Is there a way around this instead of resetting it manually?

Thanks.

Don't use xysubfilter. It is a broken piece of crap. Any tutorial that suggests using it should be thrown into the garbage.

Use the internal subtitle renderer of MPC-HC.

I thought xysubfilter is needed to work with madvr, no?

the internal will work it simply will not work together with madVR features by not using the API created for it.
this mostly effects calibration and things like smooth motion.

if you need this or not you have to figure that out by yourself.

The internal renderer works totally fine with madVR.

Thanks! I'll try the internal renderer.

I use Kodi but… how is xysubfilter “broken”?
I use it daily, it display subs, nice quality. What’s broken?
Just curious.
