MeGUI: VP9/ivf coversion.

Hello everyone.
I've been searching the forum but haven't found anything that points me in the right direction.
I am trying to convert a YouTube content (mkv) to which I had to correct the audio. I used gMKVExtract to demux the tracks, the audio was an .aac but the video was VP9/ivf, a format I've never come across before (Yes, I've been away from video conversion for a while :rolleyes:). My idea is to convert this content using MeGUI, but apparently it doesn't support this type of format, neither when embedded in the mkv or separated as an ivf file. It says that a filter is missing, but which one?
Some ideas how can I get this to work?

Here MeGUI support VP9 video in mkv container with FFMSIndex 20210814 or L-SMASH Works 20220406 (not in ivf format).
Check your ffms2 and L-Smash versions.

I don't think so. You have ffms2 and L-SMASH Works from 2017.

Please:

Megui -> Options -> Extended -> Auto Update -> Use development update server -> Save
Megui -> Tools -> Update -> Show all packages -> Enable all packages -> Update

Thanks a lot for your help. I've already tried your suggestion and worked very well, I still have to try to convert the file I've mentioned above which I don't have anymore and for some reason it's not available in YouTube anymore, but I guess it should work now.

Hi, sorry to bother you again. Now I got another problem. :rolleyes:
Since the last update I did using "Development update server" I can't load ass subtitle files anymore. I get an AviSynth script error: "Plugin was designed for a later version of AviSynth (8)"
So I think the problem lies in the VSFilter.dll included in the 13 version of the AviSynth plugins. For some reason, it can't load ass file. I had to go back to the 11 version.

Megui -> Options -> Main -> Check the Always use the included Avisynth

Seems you have installed a old AviSynth version

It was always like that.

After loading the ass file and pressing "Preview AVS Script" I get the first error (Test1) and then if I press directly "Save" I get the second error (Test2).

Yes, I checked the VSfilter from https://github.com/pinterf/xy-VSFilter/releases and can't work with MeGUI AviSynth version until the xy-VSFilter v3.2.0.802 (20181031).

In plugins 11 version there are v3.2.0.801 (20180904) but if work for you is ok.

Yes, I test from last v3.2.0.806 (20210412), v3.2.0.805 (20210412), v3.2.0.804 (20210306) and v3.2.0.803 (20210305) without success, the same messages than you.

Maybe need new AviSynth versions still not tested with MeGUI by Zathor than need other changes.
