Can RealPlayer 9 be found anywhere?

I guess some people see them as curios, collectables. Back then, around 2004, .rmvb (aka RV9) had a potential, rather popular here on doom9 too. Obviously, not anymore...

Yeah... and Easy RealMedia Producer by redcheek, RealBatch by damrod, etc. IIRC x264 was still early back then, and .rmvb was a practical option. While people generally hated RealPlayer itself, the codec was not bad. There was also something called Helix Player (?) which even supported Ogg Theora! Bring back memories...

That's odd. I'm 100% positive that there was a Realmedia 9; I'm surprised that the RealPlayer version numbers didn't follow suit.

there was 8.1 (yes it was different and not just a name)
so no maybe a sever version was release in between but it is just a number anyway.
