Hi, I have a problem with tsMuxer GUI 2.6.12. I'm trying to make a BD-disc from an mkv-file. I manage to get video and subtitles play ok in my stand alone Blu-ray player (Samsung BD-H8900), but no audio.

The mkv-file has aac-stereo audio. tsMuxer warns that aac-codec is not standard BD-discs. So I have tried to use other codecs. I have impoted the mkv-file into Handbrake and changed the codec into AC3, DTS etc. Then I have encoded the new mkv-file, and then used MKVcleaver to extract the new audio. And then I have put it all together with tsMuxer again, using the new audio. But nothing works. I some cases the audio plays ok in my computer with VLC, but not in my Samsung.

I have tried to change audio settings in Samsung. The default setting is PCM, and that works for all my other discs. But none of the audio settings work for this disc.

The annoying thing is, that I have done this successfully before. But it was two years ago, and I don't remember what tricks I did with the audio. I ripped one of those previous discs with MakeMKV, and that mkv-file had PCM-audio. But I have no memory how I managed to get that audio-codec there!

So I would be very grateful, if someone could suggest ways to get my audio working.

Try recoding AAC to AC3 with eac3to. It has a great GUI, UsEac3to https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=145574

Also you might want to use a more recent version of tsMuxer https://github.com/justdan96/tsMuxer/releases

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, they didn't help.

I used the latest version of tsMuxer, but got the same results: Audio is working in VLC, but not in Samsung.

UsEac3to didn't work at all. I inputted the mkv-file, and the program said "Processing Info... Please wait or Ctrl+C over CMD windows". I chose to wait. And wait. And wait. After 30 minutes I tried to Exit the program, but I couldn't even do that. I had to use Task Manager to shut down the program.

Are there any other similar programs like tsMuxer GUI? Free and easy to use?

De-mux the multi-channel AAC audio stream and encode it separately to AC3 (at 448 or 640Kbps) using UsEac3to (or other audio encoding software).

I used Audacity to encode AAC into AC3 at 640 Kbps, them muxed it all together with tsMuxer., and then burned the ISO with ImgBurn. And again, the sound was ok when I played the disc in my computer, but silent, when I played it in Samsung.

Samsung players were the worst... back in the day when I used to make discs, they were the ones that had the most problems with playback. I needed to delete the AUXDATA folder before burning.
