View Full Version : FlaskMPEG/XMPEG generating errors in win98/2000 HELP!

ok now ive tried both of these program in my windows 2000 and 98 and about 15 seconds after i start the conversion usaully around that same clip i get an error msg saying that the program generated errors then the whole damn thing quits

HOW DO I FIX THIS???????

First, format your hard drive.

Just kidding.

Honestly, I can't even see the point in telling you a bunch of fixes for this program. Flask is a buggy old piece of software that hasn't gotten any better in months, and Xmpeg is a slightly more stable version of Flask.

Try Gordianknot, which uses Nandub and Smart Bitrate Control. This is absolutely the best software to use to encode movies. It offers as much simplicity or complexity as you want, when you want, and a complete n00b can be encoding great looking movies easily.

so does anyone know how to fix this or not?
