Can someone PLEASE explain to me what the hell Quanitize Matrix is? I have never played with it out of simple fear of screwing up really bad.

...In kindergarden terms please...

what does it do? What is intra-lata and NONintra-lata? Will adding bigger numbers make make my encodes better? In playing with it, what are the basic rules I should know?

Will I become a better person and ensure my place in Val Halla for knowing the answer to these perplexing questions?
