Since AI upscale is actually a thing now, is there a way for one person to save the upscaled result into a LUT like file, and then another person to reproduce the same result using the file without running the long upscaling process again, given that they have the same source clip?

That's where we encounter the curse of dimensionality and turned to deep learning.

Save the difference of AI clip to standard resizer clip into a new clip and send that to apply, this is similar to a "diff" file.
I don't think a LUT file can make it since AI depends on convolutions where more than one pixel is involved for the output pixel.
