I've learned to crop the video using DVD2SVCD thanks to the help provided in this forum. (thanks guys) :D

I'd like to set it as the permanent default setting on the Avisynth script by using the "Save" button when the script pops up. (by selecting "Edit when dvd2avi processing is finished" button)

When I click the "Save" button, nothing happens. The next time I use the program, all the settings are back to the default.

Is this a bug in the program, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
BWilder

You aren't doing anything wrong, you just misunderstand what the save button is for.

The save button does not change the default. I believe the default avs 'template' is hard coded into DVD2SVCD.

The save button saves the changes to the current avs file on your hard drive so you can preview the change in something like vDub before telling DVD2SVCD to continue. I'm rather surprised you haven't been using it for that. You must be very confident that your AviSynth edits don't contain any errors.
