hey,

want to change a couple of dubs with wrong pitch on bluray (running with common 23.976fps), these tracks are in DTS-HD MA audio and clearly have a 25 fps pitch.

Pitch corrections with izotope rx8 dosn't give me an acceptable output.
Now i tried to stretch in mkv, recorded the track with vlc and got a good sounding .dts file, but it doesnt have the correct timeing.

Actually I am looking for a way to record what i am listening (digitally of course)
Is that possible somehow?

or maybe even better can i change the timestamps, so that recording can be avoided at all...

thanks in advance for any hints and help

AviSynth's TimeStretch (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/TimeStretch#Notes) plugin can change the pitch without affecting the duration. I suggest you decode the DTS-HD MA to w64 (or whatever) with ffmpeg and then use BeHappy (https://www.videohelp.com/software/BeHappy), a GUI that makes it easy to derive the right values, to make the conversion with TimeStretch.

I just tried to record the track, but it seems if i stretch in mkv, it actually shows me a time that is correct, but it plays just normal, that's perhaps the reason why it sounds so "normal" :)

i guess that 24 bit lossless audio is just a waste of GBs, better to get the DVD lossy audio and stretch it to get the correct pitch, i tried a couple of pitch and stretch options, but all have noticeable lower quality, it's not bad, but still the dvd dubs would give better results.
