Used DVD2SVCD with no problems. I end up with 2 cue/bin files. I used latest nero and the first file burns perfect but i cannot get the second to burn. Both files 1+2 bin are the same size. 800m. The second always gives me errors such as tha medium is too small and the medium needs to be erased if i try an CDRW. If i use fireburner it sometimes says burning completed even if there is a ways to go and the quality is not as good on playback[burned at 4x] as with nero. Using a p3;/933 with a 121032 plexiwriter and all the apps are latest versions Thanx and let me know if you need more info.

Hi ohsoconfused,

if you want to use Nero then make sure you are using the latest version (5.5.7.2) as some previous versions had issues with burning *.cue files.

Also make sure you have enabled overburning in File | Preferences...|Expert Features tab by checking "Enable overburn 'disc at once' ... otherwise Nero can't finalize the CD-R correctly if the second image in your case is perhaps slightly bigger than the first one (just a few bytes).

Or see the "Newbie FAQ" and the other recommended burning methods - for example using the Daemon Tools is my favourite one. ;)

Greetings,
Gerti

When I use nero and the file is to big to fit on a 80 minute cd, Nero will tell me I need to put in a bigger medium. That tells me I need to go and turn on overburn. once I turn on the overburn then it burns. SO if nero dosent tell you the file is to big, then I dont see it being an overburn issue

What you could do is check your second image by loading it with Deamon tools, Fantom cd either one of those programs then playing that file in a software dvd player like Powerdvd or whatever one you prefer. If that file plays then try loading the image in to Deamon TOols or Fantom Cd and then burn with nero ect.

I enabled overburn in nero and it fixed the problem. Thanx so much. Is there something i should reconfigure in bitrate to fix this or is this normal to fit on 2 cd's? The first bin that burned ok was 824m and the second problem bin was 826m, not much different in size but it caused some problems.
