View Full Version : Are Magewell HDMI capture cards good for BeSplit conversions?

As I stated in a previous thread, the capture cards I was using before were in one way or another impractical for recording embedded (static) Dolby Digital audio, and converting it to its base form with BeSplit (or perhaps any other similar program).

Based on the conversation had here, I get the feeling that Magewell cards are highly endorsed for this kind of activity.

What I want to know, if anybody here happens to know, is that true for all of Magewell's cards or just some? And if only some, which one(s) would be a wise purchase?

Before anyone suggests I pose my question in the thread I linked above, I've been there and done that. I'm coming here because I'm really spent for options.

Thank you for listening.

As you are aware, you created a topic about 'Audio Capturing' on Tue 15 Jun: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1945076#post1945076

You really don't need to keep creating new topics about the same subject, just add any new questions you have to your existing topic....

@SeeMoreDigital
Arian only make my suggestion because in this subforum maybe there are users than can answer their question.

To avoid duplicated threads I will delete the 'Audio encoding' thread.
