Convert Dolby Vision P7 and P8.1 to Dolby Vision P5?

I have a lot of m2ts 4K remux in Dolby Vision P7 and P8.1
Is it possible to convert Dolby Vision P7 and P8.1 Dolby Vision P5?
I'm sorry if it's stupid but I don't know how DV works and the technology used.

I think there is no public tool that can do this yet. I would hold onto the content though.

Those profiles have fundamentally different base layer encodings than Profile 5. Converting would entail decoding and tone mapping to Y'CtCp space and then reencoding to Profile 5 from there.

I think perhaps ColorFront Transkoder can do this. It's definitely a high end feature requiring licensing Dolby Vision technology.
