Hello d9,

After mostly being a lurker for the last 15 years, I'm ready to actually put in the work to get an archival grade VHS to digital setup built at my home. I've returned to this forum with fond memories of the comprehensiveness of its content and knowledgeable membership, only to find that the capture guide bible was last edited in 2004.

Is there a more up-to-date version of this epic text that reflects changes in methods and technologies of the last 16 years?

Many Thanks in Advance,

-newmy51

VHS was not improved since 1995, so why a new guide?

Hi NewMy
I would recommend this project, a VHS offshoot of the Domesday Duplicator:
https://github.com/oyvindln/vhs-decode/blob/vhs_decode/README.md
If the above is too ambitious then try this:
