Find Original Frame Rate from Time Compressed Source

I found this cartoon DVD, but the video appears to be time compressed. Maybe to fit into the original broadcast time slot given that it looks like they used a broadcast master for the DVD. Is there an intelligent way to decimate it to achieve a minimum number of dropped frames / duplicated frames and get it back to the original 23.976fps? I'm just going to assume it was 23.976fps, because animation.

-Find another source, maybe with worse picture quality, logo, etc.
-Look for longer scenes, find out, how much shorter the scene is in your source, calculate factor between both
-Use TDecimate, mode 2 with framerate*factor, followed by assumefps(24000,1001).
-Use the factor also for stretching the sound

The problem may be that there is more than one factor, worst case in each scene... Then it's really a lot of work. :scared:

I won't swear it's correct, but I get this:

TFM().TDecimate(Cycle=117,CycleR=17)

After that you can lower the framerate and adjust the audio.
