Stumbled over MSU Deinterlacer Benchmark (https://videoprocessing.ml/benchmarks/deinterlacer.html) and just wondered:
A deinterlacer benchmark without:

QTGMC (+ QTGMC&GPU)
ZNEDI3 (+ NNEDI3CL)
TempGaussMC
YadifMod
NVIDIAs hardware deinterlacer

seems like a waste of time, doesn't it? :confused:

QTGMC is incredibly good. I've seen better ML based deinterlacers (some that are terrifyingly good) but for FOSS I think QTGMC is as good as it gets for most content.

That's not a proper deinterlacing benchmark then
