antialiasing needed for those icons,,,
Do you mean those BB help buttons for making a post?
I just quickly added a hack for all icons there when some icons needs a different tweak, I'll try to correct them.
There you can read how darkmode.js works -> https://github.com/sandoche/Darkmode.js#override-style
EDIT:
Btw, I couldn't make "darkmode-ignore" work, maybe it's bugged or I don't understand how it should be implemented.

I think the forum predates 24-bit transparent PNGs...
Supports Greasemonkey, Violentmonkey & Tampermonkey.
Always nice to see all the monkeys catered for.

Oh those, I don't mind if someone wants to replace them with Darkmode script. ;)
BB icons should be fixed in v1.4.
Always nice to see all the monkeys catered for.
One is missing - Wonkeymonkey. :D

Updated it to do seamless transitions to darkmode, no more flicker.

Might work in a simpler way using the "Stylus" add-on. It just overrides CSS.

Looks very nice VX, however, too late for me, I 'm now stuck on FireFox add-on Dark Reader. [& old dog new tricks thingy :) ]

I usually bump up the contrast a bit [compared to above image]

That would need dozens of the code lines, here for Doom9 there is only 4 lines.

I prefer Dark Background & Light Text extension. I am using an old version 0.5.14 with Waterfox Classic which allows dark backgrounds on the damn Mozilla webpages pages including the Addons/extensions. The newer versions do not allow that.

I'm reasonably happy with Dark Reader, better than those I'de tried before it.
I'm sure VX script even better.
