Good morning everyone,

I did some small fixes to "my" XviD version:

XviD-25022002-1:

- Intraframe quantizer lock for credits set to 1-31 - there was no lock at all...
- didn't incorporate -h's mods to the overflow distribution, have to get the code first
- added Nic's DS filter with brightness control :)
- changed xvid.inf to install and register Nic's DS filter as well now.
- since I don't have Nic's sources, those aren't included, sorry about that!

This is a good idea.

I am getting mad crashes. Fun stuff. Think it's my minimum frames between I-frames code.. next commit may not be til tomorrow..

I thought you wanted to surprise me after the weekend... but crashes aren't welcome surprise ;)

I thought about implementing some Intraframe minimal distance (could be easily achieved by decrementing a last_keyframe counter and forbid keyframes unless the counter is 0), but it was too scary for me - after that you'll need some "anti shit" stuff I guess...

But I could try that. it would stop consecutive keyframes, which are noticably on playback (using more CPU time it seems).

Should I do that?

We're both using the latest one, it just seems to be a NAT issue.
