Hi,
I changed my preferred player from MPC-HC to MPC-BE a year or two ago and don't recall getting the following issue before.
I recorded a few videos on my iPad, uploaded them to my Win 10 PC, and rotated and cropped them in my video editor. They play back correctly in other players such as MPC-HC, VLC, Films & TV, WMP, PotPlayer, etc. But in MPC-BE the opening resolution is always distorted: squashed downwards. To get it right I have to use PanScan > Scale to 16:9 TV.
How do I make this setting stick, i.e. become the default please?
BTW, oddly, if I take a still image from MPC-BE, that views OK, e.g in IrfanView, at the correct resolution of 1920 x 1440.
