Can AviSynth replicate FFmpeg's/Libav's Linear Blending deinterlace filter?

I really like FFmpeg's/Libav's Linear Blend deinterlace filter.

Can AviSynth replicate exactly this filter?

That page suggests that

blur(0, 1.0)

is equivalent, though I have no idea how accurate that is.
