I'm trying to play some interlaced files in PotPlayer but it's not using motion adaptive deinterlacing even though I have it on.

Video of the issue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qM86zEZ6MW8)

It works fine in MPC-HC but I'm having some issues with some codecs, plus I wanna try using PotPlayer again.

I'm using MadVR for both players, if that matters and I'm running the latest PotPlayer. It seems like this only happens with MadVR, every other renderer is fine even though I can play interlaced videos at 50/60p with MadVR in MPC-HC perfectly fine. Anyone know how to fix this?

deint stops working in madVR when a d3d11 native decoder is used make sure a different decoder is used.

as side of that nothing else should alter deint. what is your video supposed to show?

I've heard that the PotPlayer has terminated(no further upgrade + tech support)
Where did you "hear" that? More info please!

Maybe their failure to comply with open source license agreements finally caught up with them?

Unlikely. :p
