View Full Version : flv audio streams regression in PotPlayer?

Before I open up a ticket at DAUM, I wanted to check that it wasn't just me.
So... the thing is that I generally listen to either Capital London (for Hot AC music) or to LBC (for conversations/politics/news). Since I'm way out of range for DAB+ (many miles away from the UK) I listen to those stations via internet, but since opening them in a browser (https://www.globalplayer.com/live/capital/london/) would be a huge waste of RAM and CPU resources, I generally fire up PotPlayer and open them up from there. Recently, I noticed that I couldn't play them anymore (I thought that my company's firewall was the culprit) but when I came back home and tried they were not working as well.

Those are the links I give to PotPlayer:

LBC AAC: http://media-the.musicradio.com/LBCLondon?type=.flv

Capital AAC: http://media-the.musicradio.com/Capital?type=.flv

It's basically an FLV stream with audio only in AAC. Could you check that it's not just me and that those links don't work with PotPlayer 1.7.21280 (but work on other players)? I tried on both Win10 x64 and WinXP x86.

LBC work for me. I'm using the same version as you.

Oh crap...
It must be something else then...
Every time I try to do the very same thing, it freezes and becomes unresponsive 'till I close it (making it crash):
