Hello,
I have a weird situation here.
Windows XP. Primary master/slave taken by harddrive, both running at DMA mode. Secondary channel, DVD-Rom on master, CD-RW on slave. When boot up under XP, (bios recognizes both as DMA) CD-RW is in DMA mode, but DVD-Rom SOMETIMES boots into DMA mode, but most of the time into PIO mode (which is slow AND slows system down).
Is there anyway to make it so that BOTH DVD-Rom AND CD-RW drive on the secondary IDE channel will be allowed to transfer at DMA mode?
Thank you in advance,
Sam:)
