Color adjustment tester

Is there any free software that can be given a still photo (single frame of video) and lets you adjust the color settings with sliders?
I'm currently making an adjustment then running Avisynth to see the result, but that is a very slow process. I'm hoping a different program with sliders for the color settings would make it much faster to adjust until the results are good.

+ AvsPMod has sliders (Avisynth GUI).

Or there are probably many free/trial photo editors out there [just test if any trial one leaves a watermark on final image, avoid],

Avisynth is not the right tool if you’re looking for color manipulation program. There is Colormill from virtualdub that you can give it a try.
