Hello, my first post here hopefully not last.

I often use my PC satellite card to play tv channels on my PC. And sometimes those channels are in 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. Now problem is that every satellite tv channel is interlaced. And I'm not happy with deinterlacing on those 4:2:2 channels that are offered by LAV. Most of the time I use hw deinterlacing (GTX 1060 6GB) and sometimes sw YADIF. And I always use LAV video encoder.
No matter what deinterlacing solution I use image always has that motion blur. Some deinterlacers are worse then others.

I have read that QTGMC is the best solution for deinterlacing. My question is, can I use QTGMC while video is playing?

The search term you want is "real time". Use that (with the quotes) along with "QTGMC" and you'll get some answers. Here's one from this forum:
