When I encode a movie(svcd) it plays ok on my pc but after burning on my standalone(philips 751-firmware 722) it's a bit out of sync.
details:
1 premiere frameserver ipcserver
2 cce max bitrate 2100
3 audio be sweet 128/44100hz
4 bbmeg svcd
5 or vcd easy with drao burn (image)
6 nero normal svcd (no image)
all the bitrates controlled in bitrate viewer (so it isn't to high)

Still out of sync.
It's strange that the same file in image-burn is less out of sync than burned as mpeg2 with nero.
I lowered the bitrate even at 2000 but still the same result, ok on pc, out af sync after burning.

Who knows a solution?
Thanks a lot in advance

I've forgotten to mention that when I play the svcd on my pc the sync is ok.

I have the same problem with a dv capture that i encoded with the new build. sound is fine on pc in the mpeg, but on the dvd player its too fast. See my post at http://rilanparty.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=17188&perpage=20&pagenumber=2

did you leave "movie offset" at default?
perhaps your standalone isn't too thrilled playing an audio bitrate of just 128 kbps. do you have the same problem when audio bitrate is 224 kbps?

Good luck.

Make sure to use 2:3 pulldown on your clip. I had the same problem until I started using it.

I read on the net that there's a small program i author that often solves the sync problem om svcd.
But I don't know were to find it.
