I'm using TFM and TDecimate to de-telecine the intro to Star Trek Deep Space 9 and encode at 24p. There are crossfades that have noticeable jitter. I'm guessing this is because the fades are between two film sections that each have different pulldown patterns?
Is there a "best" way to deal with this? I have tried adopting the pulldown pattern and decimation pattern of the 2nd film section using an override file, but the crossfade is still jittery.
