CCE Locks on MPV

I have made svcds all week with this sweet program, but last night i tried to rip a dvd and everything was good and CCE make a vaf file and all that but when it was time for CCE to make the mpv encode it starts for a couple seconds and gets to like 500-700k and then just sits there and doesnt progress... The program hasnt frozen cause i can click exit in CCE and it closes normally and all that. I have even tried crash recovery and it still has the same thing happen..

Any Ideas??????

This is a very well known issue. Do a search on CCE crash or freeze. You will find many, many posts on this, including a sticky in the advanced forum.
In short you can try safe mode with 2.5 or safe mode with 2.62 or sometimes it is specific to certain DVD's.
I had a freeze last night with Toy Story. Only my second freeze in over 100 encodes.

It appears that the sticky that I was talking about has been unstuck, but a search should find it easy enough.
