divx.log??

When i want to encode with divx 4.01 I get an error becuz it can not find divx.log... Well am I suppose to have one?

in the first pass that log is created. in the second pass its used. Read the guides

Look, you probably are using Flask, right?

If you are, and you are getting this error, I would assume you are trying to do a 2-pass, 2nd pass encode, right?

You can't do this type of encode with first doing a 2-pass, 1st pass encode. This 1st pass creates the divx.log file, which tells the encoder how to distribute the bits for the optimum quality. Thus "2-pass vbr encoding".

Do the 1st pass first and you should not have any troubles....

close.. i'm using XMPEG... and when i convert with from bink to divx 4.x.. it does that.
