Recently I tried making a remux via eac3to and mkvmerge. Normally everythings fine but this time audio is out of sync and that is down to the video having an additional m2ts with around 11seconds of black video at the beginning. Why it has this in the first place I dont know but its through this black video that the audio is out of sync. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem? Its driving me crazy lol

DGDemux has the option to skip the first M2TS. With DGIndexNV you can load the MPLS and then delete the first M2TS from the file list before demuxing. You may also be able to simply adjust the audio offset as needed in mkvmerge.

If there are a fake m2ts you can load to eac3to the correct m2ts sequence (instead the .mpls) like:
eac3to 00002.m2ts+00003.m2ts+...

Hi, thanks for the advice. May I ask if the chapters will be fine in terms of being in sync?

Pretty sure you need to open the MPLS to get chapters.

And apply the -11 second delay to the chapters file.
