hi guys sorry if you think i have posted this in the wrong bit but with all the new programs out there does anyone know of a single application that will convert downloaded avi files off the net (movies) to vcd and ready to burn too cd-r,s

avi to vcd is a simple one step job

Tmpg, lsx, xing, panasonic, all are able to do

just consider one thing
fps of the avi is better that are exactly the half of the mpg format that you need(rarely net-avis have more than 15fps).

then tmpg and lsx can encode also half fps mpg.
