I just started to watch DivX on my TV. It was also one post in DivX 4 thread "Good idea to convert..." about some problems.
On PAL TV, when DivX is at 23.976 I have noticable glitches aprox once per second, more or less noticable depending on content and movement. It is with Voodoo 3 3500.
If source is 30 fps it is worse and more frequent.

Have some videocards some motion compensation against it? Works it with DivX or only with DVD's, via DVD player software ?

You might try to set your video-out to NTSC if your tv supports it. I don't know if it will actually work, cause on my tv i only get black and white.

ppera2,
Have you try DivxG400 DS filter ?

No NTSC, and it wouldn't help much, because I have only couple 30 fps AVI. Most is 23.976 or 25 fps.

DivXG400 has nothing about framerate - it has only size adjust and subtitle support, as I see.

I think that some motion compensation is required here.

Hi ppera2,

Be careful,find the option !!!
The DivXG400 can play 23.976 or 24 FPS movies at 25 fps - I use this option from months
and I can't find ANY faults .
However, for NTSC (29.976 - 30fps) you should swich your TV-out to NTSC (if possible).
