I am trying to create a vcd from a divx movie created from a dvd.
When I exctarct the wav file in virtual dub and encode with tmpgenc the sound is out of sync.
I have tried adjusting the interleaving ms in virtual dub and also adjsuting the audio gap in tmpenc but neither seem to work.
My guess is virtual dub is having trouble extratcing the vbr mp3 so the probalme rests in the wav file. (the divx plays fine with sound synced)
As the divx has dual tracks vbr mp3 and ac3 I tried extracting the ac3 track in nandub but it just crashes.
I have also tried to exctarct the aduio track in premiere, media studio and sound forge, all refuse the divx format.
Besweet also does not want to handle the divx file.
How can I correctly extract a valid wav file (or ac3) to encode with tmpgenc?
Or is my problem something else (note I have tried this with a couple of divx files with vbr and the same occurs)
