HOW can I burn an SVCD onto a DVD ?

I have an SVCD compatible Stream, and, instead of dividing this stream to 3 CD's I would like to burn the whole Stream (1.6 Gig) with my Ricoh DVD+RW Burner on one DVD+RW.

Does anyone know how this works?

All softs that I have want to convert this SVCD Stream to DVD standard...an so it does not fit anymore on a DVD+RW (4.7Gig)

Edit : This is the thread you're looking for i guess : http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13948 . It seems if you have the right player there is even no need to reencode, you can fool the player to play the S-VCD stream from DVD !!

OK I checked the thread You indicated for me and I wrote Your message. But it seems that there is a misunderstandig.

My problem is: HOW and with what software can I put my SVCD mpeg (video and audio stream for svcd standard) onto a DVD+RW. The DVD authoring softs I use, always want to convert the svcd stream to a DVD stream...but this is just what I want to avoid.

My DVD player can read svcd's. I do not want to have my film on 3 cd's but just on one DVD. So I have to burn the DVD with an SVCD stream..and this is what the normal authoring softs don't wanna do?!?
They always want to burn a regular DVD instead using the DVD as the medium but with the SVCD standard on it.
