Just want to ask which is has better video quality?

CCE using 4 pass,less than 1600 average bitrate without temporal smoother or Tmpgenc using CQ 70-80???

Interesting question. Probably the best thing would be for you to do both and report back :) That would be helpful although I know it is a grind to do both of them.

Im trying to encode this movie with a runtime of 127mins. The average bitrate is 1500+ checked temporal smoother for 2cd 800mb and it will take me more 1 day just for encoding it and its too much for my pc 700mhz celeron processor. Im trying to encode now using Tmpgenc and it says CQ 78.3 for 12 hours and used simple resize.

Any volunteer to compare CCE and Tmpgenc with the above parameter???

Actually, I already did this test.;)

My conclusion is the following: For ANY given output file size, IF you are using CCE multipass >= 3 (WITHOUT TS), the quality of the video encoded with CCE is, EVER, better than tmpeg (and CCE is better than tmpeg even if you are using CQ or 2pass VBR with "highest quality" turned on).

Of course, as an alternative method, it is a good option when you cannot make a encoding with CCE.

I would suggest you don't use temporal smoother for the tests, especially on TMPG. You can stop, turn it off, and restart using Crash Recovery. Try that if you can.
