Demux a physical SVCD and Mux it again problem

I try to demux a physical SVCD (avseq01.mpg), but TMPGENC only detects the audio track... (MPEGTOOLS>De-multiplex or Simple demultiplex) the program don't understand the video track, and I can't extract it. I want to separate the audio and video tracks and multiplex the video with another audio track. How can I do it??

Try using VCDXRIP (tool from VCDImager) to obtain the MPG file, and see if you can demux that file. That what I allways do when I need to get the MPG of a (S)VCD for any purposes and it works very well for me.

don't works... I used the vcdxrip and when I have the result mpg, I put it into tmpgenc and they didn't recognizes video stream!! :-((( ... it's strange... the svcd plays ok in my standalone dvd and in windvd, but no software recognizes the video stream....
I can convert it using dvd2avi, but it's impossible to demultiplex!

try to use vcdgear ver 2.0 and set conversion type from DAT to MPEG.
it should handle your file quite ok.
then you can memultiplex it with anything you like ( tmpgenc ... )

I do not know how that could happen, the stream you get with vcdxrip is a MPEG2 file... if the original was correct (and it should since it plays in your stand alone), it has a video stream and one or more audio streams and some more information. Selecting "File", "MPEG Tools...", "De-multiplex" and browsing for the file should work... Do not select "simple demultiplex", if the file has more than one audio output it could confuse tmpgenc. What error message gives to you? perhaps you should ask at TMPGEnc forum, this seems something rather unusual.
