may be, that my Thomson DTH-5000 ( same as Samsung M105/M205 ) has problems with low bitrate in SVCD ?

In scenes, where are very little change changes, player stopping picture.

Hi machura,

then try to set the "Min." value (default=300) higher as there are some standalones that play jerky when the bitrate is to low. Try "1000" perhaps and see if this solves the problem and then you could try to lower the bitrate again until the problem occurs again. Then you will know the critical bitrate for your standalone.

But be aware that the calculation of the average bitrate and therefore the calculations for the image files can be slightly affected with this. So it can be that you might get an extra image for the last seconds or so of the movie in some situations.

Yes, I will try it. But it is very difficult. This stopping is not always. When I rewind and play once again, then can be it OK.

Do You think - exist some as Test file? F.eg. 20s with bitrate 300, 20s with bitrate 400 ..500 ... ... 1200 ... 2400 ... 3500 with picture, where can be all problems simple visible ?
