Having searched the net, I came up with the following on the official site:
"Also, the capture system now tells you how much of a timing correction it is applying to the video, in the form of a new "VT adjust" statistic. Ideally, the number of "dropped" frames you have should be very close to this value, divided by the frame time in milliseconds. If this number goes off the scale, VirtualDub's timing correction is going nuts."
But I'm struggling to understand what it actually means. In one video I captured, I got 1 dropped frame and +20 ms VT adjust. The 1 dropped frame doesn't sound too bad at all, but what should I do about the VT adjust? Does it mean that the audio is out of sync by 20 ms? In that case I would then need to offset the audio stream in virtualdub, or is that not necessary? (i.e., does virtualdub automatically keep the streams in sync during capture?)
