It's very unlikely that a user can delete any account. Some modern forum software may allow it but most old don't.

Generally it's a matter of «default settings»... i.i.r.c. Simple Machines Forum by default lets the users delete their respective accounts, whereas vBulletin and phpBB apparently do not.
Evidently the admins can modify any setting but most forum admins are lazy :p :D

I also want my account removed, but don't know how to do it. Doom9 Admin account is not accepting PM's because it is full.

This has always been a good site since I have joined and its nice seeing the staff honour peoples requests to have thier accts deleted..... Most sites I am on will not delete an active account... They just tell the people "not to login anymore"..... Makes me wonder if its just laziness?? (They dont wanna bother to do it)

Doom9 is a good place..
