View Full Version : DeShaker filter; omitting frames

I'm refering G.Thalin's filter that works very well in most cases.

Now I've got a movie where I needed to omit the filter for
some time intervals.

For that I tried the blending options in VD2,
but DeShaker produces framewise vertical flipped and "trembling" results then.
Next I tried to remove the corresponding lines/frames from deshaker.log
before pass2 of the filter.
This works only when the erased lines/frames are not at the beginning or end.
And even if I choose an in-between erasing, these frames are still changed
by DeShaker by touching (blurring etc.) the frame borders.
(Pass2 options for the remaining lines:
default, except "Use previous ..." and "Extrapolate...")

My question:

Anyone to confirm?
Anyone who can tell how to do the job?

Thanks in advance.
