hi,
Ive got an audio problem with SVCDs. When i re-encode .avi to .mpg with tmpgenc using toolame or the built-in mp2 encoder i get this really annoying high frequency tone/hiss from my center channel on playback from my standalone player and home theater. Back in the day when I thought VCD was a great format I dont remember having this problem. Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of this before i get a brain hemmorrage or something? :)
