What is the cheapest way for an external HDR metadata (HLG/Dolby maybe) reader/displayer?

Thanks

You wanna see metadata only and waveform associated with it?
Well, I can't tell you the cheapest hardware, but the new Tektronix Waveform monitor will let you read external metadata and see the waveform associated to HDR.
It is expensive, but I've been using it on a daily basis at work for years now and I can tell you that it works like a charm.

Thank you for the reply.
Maybe I wasn't clear, I want to check the HDR metadata values that the GPU outputs (confirming them that they are ok).

We can check the metadata values of an HDR10 file with the OSD of MadVR (free for now), and even see graph with its measuring tool and a small util.

Get one of the HDFury boxes. 200 Euros should do it.

Which one exactly can be used? I saw Integral 1/2, Linker, etc.

For reporting values I think cheapest one.
Email them. Some of boxes report values as overlay on the screen which is nice.
