View Full Version : Looking for a .vob editor

With some lower bitrate interlaced dvd sources I have been just stripping the mp2 and ac3 files from the vobs, converting the audio, muxing and creating my svcd. It has worked well but it is a little tedious. I strip the streams with vobrator, mux with tmpeg, cut and merge with tmpeg tools. As I said this is tedious and I even was unable one time to merge a cut tmpeg mpeg2 file with another. Strange.

Anyway.

I would like to know if there is a vob editor of sorts. You know...open the vob, or a list of vobs...with a dvd2avi like interface....so you could just strip the portion of the video selected. this way i would not have to do the merging and cutting and i could stick with bbmpeg...which I prefer for multiplexing.

thank you.
