View Full Version : Really odd problem...

I found this really strange problem when I tried to back-up my Cannibal Holocaust (NTSC Region 2) DVD. Using the latest Gordian Knot (as of 2002/2/20), The resulting file has audio that plays at normal speed but video that plays twice as fast!

After demuxing with VirtualDub and/or Nandub I get 2 separate files that play OK. Video and audio at correct speed. When I try to mux them again, either no audio comes out in the final AVI or the video AND audio play twice as fast.

I checked the frame rate, but that is not the problem. Why is that when it is muxed, everything plays incorrectly?

All other back ups I have done worked perfectly, its just this one DVD that doesn't. (Hence this not being in the GK section).

Running XP Pro, P3-785, Matrox G200, 224 Ram...

Any ideas???

Try playing a little bit with interleaving options in Nandub. This should help - at least it helped me ;)

The Audio is CBR MP3, Using DivX 4.12 /4.11 (I've tried both).

VirtualDub encode.

I'll try playing with the interleaving options and report back.

Thanks.
