Has anyone sucsessfully outputed there ac3 stream using a soundblaster live and 4.1 system on there computer. So using some software decoder. I'm guessing that was iviaudio.ax is but it will not let me select 4speaker output like everyone else having the same problem. Only 2 speaker and spdif. Anyone know what the problem is? are there any other filter you can use to output the sound to 4.1 speaker system, Too many seem to be having the same probem and i've spent too long for one night trying to find a solution =P
Tommarow is another day...any help would be appreciated, thanks.

hi, i'm having the same problem.
a friend of mine uses the same software
(powerdvd xp 4.0)
(thus also the same iviaudio.ax and mpgaudio.ax).
for him it works, for me it doesn't.
so i guess it's some windows registry setting.
i read somewhere the there 's a
[intervideo]/[common]/[audio]
key somewhere which should be set to the correct value.
does anybody have specific info on this ?

Try install windvd 3.x that works my second computer (sblive 1024), but I have problem with my primary compter, becouse any windvd 3.x wouldn't install (some dll function call error) so if somebody know how to install filters manual or some other soft witch have same filters that windvd use so let us know. I want use 6 spekar (5.1) not spdif.
