Preserve the Dolby Digital 5.1

Been looking around, but can’t find an answer to this:

Is there any way to preserve the Dolby Digital 5.1 audio when ripping/converting to SVCD in DVD2SVCD ?

There is, but not in DVD2SVCD. The problem is that only 1 known DVD player can play an SVCD with multi channel Mpeg audio.
